I had an older Favorite War Movies thread from awhile ago, but decided to salvage my list from it. So yeah.

English: Black Hawk Down, Saving Private Ryan, Body of Lies, Enemy at the Gates, The Hurt Locker, Jarhead, The Pianist, Inglourious Basterds, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Behind Enemy Lines, Full Metal Jacket, {Forrest Gump}, Troy, 300, The Patriot, {The Bourne Trilogy}, The Green Zone, LOTRs, {Avatar}, Generation Kill, {28 Days and Weeks Later}, All Quiet on the Western Front (both), A Bridge Too Far, Battle of Britain, The Battle of the Bulge, {The Rock}, Kingdom of Heaven, Alexander, Gladiator, We Were Soldiers, Apocalypse Now, Braveheart, Cross of Iron, Patton, The Last Samurai, The Red Baron, {The Killing Fields}

German: Downfall(Der Untergang), The Counterfeiters(Die Fälscher), The Baader Meinhof Complex(Der Baader Meinhof Komplex), Speer and He(Speer und Er), Das Boot, Stalingrad(part Russian too)

French: Days of Glory(Indigènes)

Japanese: Letters from Iwo Jima, Yamato(Otoko Tachi No Yamato)

Finnish: Winter War(Talvisota), Ambush(Rukajärven tie)

Hebrew: Beaufort, Lebanon

Spanish: Che Part One + Two

Portuguese: Tropa de Elite

Korean: Tae Guk Gi

Mandarin: The Warlords

I'll need to go through an update the list as that was from a year ago, but its a pretty good picture of war movies I've seen.

Life is a game. Your timer starts when you are born and ends when you die. There are no winners, losers or tiebreakers. However, the objective is to make the right choices in life. The keys are the people you know, yourself, and everyone else in the world. Are you prepared to make the right choices and use the keys correctly, or will you cheat your way through life, causing the keys to shatter, and live the rest of your life in regret? Choose wisely, your clock is ticking.

I would have to say Black Hawk Down. Don't like many others.
JUST MY OPINION.

If predator counts like a war movie I'll choose that one!!

If not hmmm Full Metal Jacket, definitly, Pyle was my favorite character till he commited suicide!! Hmmm, I think I'll review my DVDs to see it again!! To those who don't knew, it was Vincent D'Onofrio who did the character of Pvt. Leonard 'Gomer Pyle' Lawrence, masterful!!

See you on the field

Man, there are some great war movies out there, but here are my top 4:

1) The Hurt Locker
2) Black Hawk Down
3) Jarhead
4) Full Metal Jacket

I also like "We Were Soldiers" for the reason that they played that movie for us while in route to Iraq. Some kind of cruel joke I guess...
